Kester Wax
Can be used in CASE, Home Care I&I, Metalwork and Lubricant applications as an industrial wax. Koster Keunen waxes can provide products with excellent aesthetic, block and slip properties as well as improved water, oil and abrasion resistance. Included in the range are beeswaxes (natural and synthetic) and a vegetable wax. Also has personal care applications.
Koster Milks
Sprayable and easy-to-use wax dispersions with a 40% wax content and small, spherical wax particles with a uniform particle size.
MICROSERE™ Microcrystalline Waxes
MICROSERE™ microcrystalline waxes are tougher, more flexible and tend to have higher melting points than paraffin waxes. The fine crystal structure of MICROSERE™ microcrystalline waxes means the wax can bind to solvents and oils preventing sweating-out.
Morpholine and DIGLYCOLAMINE® Agent
Used in the CASE, Metalworking and Homecare markets as an emulsifier and wetting agent; Morpholine also acts as an excellent corrosion inhibitor, especially in steam boiler systems. Has applications within water treatment as it is miscible with water as well as a large range of other organic solvents. DIGLYCOLAMINE® Agent is a 2-(2-aminoethoxy) ethanol which is used as a foam stabilizer, wetter, emulsifier and an amide in metalworking, personal care and electronics.
Packaging and Corrugated Wax Blends
We offer IGI Wax’s Wax Blends for flexible packaging, corrugated packaging and folding cartons. Paraffin waxes and paraffin-based wax blends are natural, mineral waxes from petroleum that are colourless, non-reactive, non-toxic, biodegradable and compostable products.
Paraffin Wax
We offer IGI Wax’s fully refined paraffin waxes with low, medium and high melting point options. Paraffin waxes are natural, mineral waxes from petroleum that are non-reactive, non-toxic, inherently biodegradable (OECD guidelines) and compostable products.
Petrolatum Wax
Petrolatum waxes are natural, mineral waxes from petroleum that are microcrystalline in nature and a semi-solid at room temperature. The waxes themselves are non-reactive, non-toxic, biodegradable and compostable products with many applications where barriers are required to liquids and gases e.g. lotions, candles and rust preventatives.
Primary Antioxidants
These products act as free radical scavengers and are used to protect the finished product from thermal degradation and oxidation, leading to long-term stability as it is able to extend product lifetime and aesthetics in their working environmental conditions. Metal Deactivators are available to be used when the polymer is in contact with metal ions (e.g. copper).
RESIN KLEEN™
We offer environmentally-aware solvent systems for industrial cleaning applications under our RESIN KLEEN™ range. These products have high solvency, low VOC and are readily biodegradable, offering a great alternative to conventional and harmful solvents such as methylene chloride and acetone.
Secondary Antioxidants
These products are peroxide decomposers and are incorporated into the polymer, preventing degradation during processing.
