Forestwise was originally founded in the Netherlands in 2018 but have their own production site in Sintang, West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Forestwise utilise the abundant bounty of the rainforests of Indonesia, creating high value wild-harvested ingredients for the cosmetic and food industry, whilst respecting and maintaining the natural environment that produces them and generating local employment.
Their mission is to #StopDeforestation and create #RainforestValue. Forestwise does this by producing Rainforest ingredients, creating more value for forest communities while increasing the value of the forest as a natural resource, and providing genuinely sustainable alternatives for consumers around the world. Their product offerings include a range of natural butters and oils which contain key fatty acids and have excellent moisturising, structural, and emollient properties.

Fision® EcoSil provides additional skin nourishment whilst acting as an upcycled, naturally derived silicone alternative. With its low melting point, Kester Wax K24 allows the formulation to melt into the skin easily, leaving a silky after-feel. Nourishing ingredients like Forestwise’s Illipe Butter help to soothe and hydrate the scalp and hair making this ideal for laying down edges or smoothing hair into place. BergaCare FG M 12 contains ethically sourced Kalahari Melon Seed Oil to increase skin hydration, and to help restore skin barrier whilst improving skin elasticity. Fision® EcoLatum S provides a natural alternative to petrolatum that delivers additional skin nourishment often associated with castor seed oil. Kesterwax K82P and Sunflower Wax provide structure. Kesterwax K82P helps the product to glide through the hair easily and Sunflower Wax gives great, lasting hold to the hair.

This scrub formulation is designed to remove dead skin cells from the body. Formulated with Kukui nut oil which contains essential fatty acids making it an excellent moisturiser and emollient. Apply to wet skin and massage in thoroughly.

Mokaté Melon Solid Shampoo Bar
Solid eco-conscious shampoo bar – perfectly suited to the water-less and packaging-free trend. Quick foaming and easing rinsing formula. Bergasoft SCI 80 and Bergasoft DG 50 deliver gentle but effective sulphate-free cleansing. Sunflower Wax gives structure to the formula and Mokaté® Kalahari Melon Seed Oil delivers a high level of Essential Fatty Acids and Vitamin E. Lather in the hands with water, as with a soap bar, then apply the lather to the hair, working from roots to ends. Rinse away with warm water and follow with conditioner as usual.
