100% Natural Iron Oxides from Óxidos Rojos de Málaga

Alfa Chemicals are proud to announce their new partnership with Óxidos Rojos de Málaga (ORM), a Spanish supplier of 100% natural iron oxide products.

Founded in 1906, ORM produce iron oxides (OXIRED®) suitable for use in CASE applications, imparting both protective and aesthetic characteristics.

95% of the ORM’s energy needs are met from renewable energy sources, and their processes involve no chemical treatment or additives, helping to minimise their impact on the environment.

Key uses include:

  • Paints and coatings — Marine, anticorrosive, varnishes, primers
  • Construction — Concrete, bricks, tiles, asphalt
  • Agriculture — Fertilisers, feedstocks
