Alpha-olefin sulfonates (AOS) are cost-effective anionic surfactants with excellent emulsification properties in water-based systems.
Innospec’s NANSA® LSS surfactants are suited for a broad range of applications, including emulsion polymers (as an emulsifier/stabiliser), dyes (as a wetting agent), and construction additives (as an air-entraining agent).
AOS are readily biodegradable and free of 1,4-dioxane, making them a strong choice over alternative surfactants such as SLES and linear alkylbenzene sulfonates (LAS).
Sodium C14–16 AOS in dried powder form, for highly concentrated formulations. Excellent stabilisation of hydrophobic monomers in hard water environments and has a low CMC.
