Tefzel™ ETFE products contain a range of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene copolymers (modified and unmodified) which have applications in products where general thermoplastics are lacking in mechanical properties. Products processed with Tefzel™ ETFE resins provide improved resistance characteristics often associated with fluoropolymers, along with improved mechanical properties such as abrasion resistance and impact strength.

Products

Tefzel™ ETFE 207-J

Used in a wide range of end-use applications such as electrical components, due to high melt flow rate it is ideal for thin wall extrusion or injection moulding. Provides chemical inertness (including most solvents), hydrolysis stability and weather resistance as well as having improved mechanical properties such as excellent impact strength, cut-through and abrasion resistance.

Tefzel™ ETFE 280-J

Preferred for applications where other thermoplastics are lacking in mechanical toughness such as chemical service items, abrasion resistant linings, corrugated tubing, duct tape and pump housings. Provides chemical inertness (including most solvents), hydrolysis stability and weather resistance as well as having improved mechanical properties such as excellent impact strength, cut-through and abrasion resistance.

Tefzel™ ETFE HT-2181

Intermediate flow rate fluoropolymer used in a wide range of end-use applications such as electrical components, labware, chemical service items, components that require chemical inertness and film. Provides chemical inertness (including most solvents), hydrolysis stability and weather resistance as well as having improved mechanical properties such as excellent impact strength, cut-through and abrasion resistance.

Tefzel™ ETFE HT-2183-J

Used where other thermoplastics are lacking in mechanical toughness such as high temperature electrical components, chemical service items and other abrasion resistant linings. Tefzel™ ETFE HT 2183 has a uniquely enhanced flex life and resistance to environmental stress and still provides chemical inertness (including most solvents), hydrolysis stability, weather resistant and improved mechanical properties.
