Ocean Eyes Firming Cream

Ocean Eyes Firming Eye Cream is the ultimate solution to combat signs of aging and fatigue around the delicate eye area. Formulated with Biofer™ Sugar Kelp, adding instant and sustained skin firming, and GreenWax™ GL MB, which enhances the viscosity and texture of the emulsion.

1.) In a suitably-sized main kettle, weigh water and begin propeller mixing and heating to 75-80ºC.

2.) Add the rest of Phase A (GreenGard PA) to the main kettle and disperse completely.

3.) In a separate vessel, pre-blend Phase B to a uniform slurry. Add to main kettle while propeller mixing. Ensure no gel balls remain before continuing.

4.) Slowly sift Phase C into main kettle while propeller mixing. If needed, homogenize 30 seconds - 1 minute/100g final batch size to completely disperse powder.

5.) In a suitably-sized side kettle, weigh first two ingredients of Phase D and mix until uniform. Then, slowly add remaining ingredients and begin heating to 75-80ºC.

6.) When both kettles are uniform and at temperature, slowly add side kettle to main kettle while propeller mixing. Mix for 1 minute/100g final batch size.

7.) Cool main kettle with propeller or side-sweep mixing to <50ºC.

8.) When main kettle is <50ºC, slowly add Phase E ingredients one at a time. Ensure complete dispersion of each ingredient prior to adding the next.

9.) Homogenize main kettle 30 seconds - 1 minute/100g final batch size. Check specs and adjust pH if necessary, using ingredients listed in Phase F. Mix all adjustments via homogenizer for 15-30 seconds/100g final batch size.

10.) When main kettle is uniform and in spec, cool to room temperature with side-sweep mixing.

11.) When main kettle is uniform and at room temperature, drop into appropriate containers.
