Vegetable waxes

Candelilla is a vegetable wax found in great quantities in Mexico’s North Central Plateau and Southeastern Texas. Candelilla is extracted from the shrub.

Sunflower Wax is an upcycled hard, crystalline, high melting-point vegetable wax obtained through the winterization of sunflower oil.

Carnauba wax T1 is obtained from the leaves of a palm tree named Copernica cerifera, indigenous to northern Brasil. The wax protects the plant against the environment and prevents excessive evaporation. This very hard natural wax is mainly used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical stick formulations.

Rice Bran Wax is an upcycled hard, crystalline, high melting vegetable wax obtained from rice husks and aids in thickening formulations by providing a rigid structural network of wax crystals, improving oil binding, emolliency, film formation and lubricity, making it a key component in sticks and emulsions.
