Complex derived from a combination of the Sodium salt of 2-pyrrolidone- 5-carboxylic Acid and Sodium Lactate, acidified with Lactic Acid to neutral pH. Especially suitable for introducing good moisturizing and humectant properties to cosmetic preparations. An interesting application is in the trichological field, where it performs an effective cementing activity of corneocytes and a repairing activity of the keratin structure of the hair. It is not sticky and does not irritate.
