Kesterwax

Kesterwax K24 is a plant based low molecular weight high purity monoester that is compatible with most cosmetic ingredients. It can be used as a slip agent and a skin penetrating agent for anhydrous systems like mineral oil. Kesterwax K24 can replace many ester oils in cosmetic formulas while increasing the stability of those formulations.

Kester Wax K-62 is a naturally derived, medium chain ester wax. Kester Wax K-62 has good thermal stability, very narrow thermal phase change, film forming properties, and wide compatibility in different solvents.

Kesterwax K72 is a naturally derived, high purity mono-ester wax. It possesses good thermal stability, a narrow thermal phase change, film forming properties and offers good compatibility with a wide range of solvents. It can be used as a natural structuring and gelling agent, especially in colour cosmetics and other sticks. In combination with Kesterwax K60P, it can be used as a vegan replacement for beeswax. In addition, granulated Kesterwax K72 can be used as a natural replacement for polyethylene exfoliating beads.

Kester Wax K-82D is a high molecular weight dimer acid ester with very strong gelling properties for cyclomethicones, phenylmethicones, and many other.

Kester Wax K82P is a soft ester wax with properties similar to the complex polyester fraction of beeswax, the same fraction that gives beeswax its unique plastic properties.

Kester Wax K80 EU is an ester wax manufactured from natural fatty acids and natural fatty alcohols. It functions as an effective viscosity enhancer, improving the texture and consistency of products while also boosting emulsion and thermal stability for extended shelf life. It has a similar melting point to Sunflower wax and is capable of replacing natural waxes in many formulations. K80 EU imparts a rich texture with notable film-forming abilities and enhanced payoff in solid formulations.

Kester Wax K70P is a soft, pliable wax manufactured from natural fatty acids and natural fatty alcohols, and consists a range of hydroxy polyesters. It improves product stability, enhances texture, and contributes to better spreadability and skin feel in various formulations. K70P acts as an effective plasticiser, helping to reduce brittleness and improve dispersion. It control the crystallisation and modify the crystalline structure of other waxes when used in combination.
