We are proud to be working with FORESTWISE to bring wild-harvested rainforest raw materials for Personal Care, including their Organic Illipe Butter, made from the nuts of the endangered Shorea Stenoptera tree.
Harvested from the forest floor by hand in West Kalimantan, Illipe nuts provide sustainable income for over 740 families from 25 villages, while protecting an area the size of Luxembourg from deforestation.

Organic Illipe Butter has a higher melting point than Shea Butter and contains key fatty acids, gifting excellent moisturizing, emollient and structuring properties, making Illipe Butter suitable for an array of topical applications.
