Under the Sea, Darling it's better…Because That’s Where the Marine Based Actives Come From!

Our Marine materials sourced from algae and seaweed are sustainable and efficacious active ingredients. ‘Blue Beauty’ and marine-based skincare gained popularity because marine ingredients are known for being rich in vitamins, minerals, proteins, and essential fatty acids.

These ingredients have a unique ability to adapt, regenerate and thrive in hostile environments making them ideal for soothing, revitalising, and barrier repair claims.

Check out our marine based actives below:

BioFer™ Sugar Kelp : The sugar kelp used in this firming active is wild harvested by hand from Maine costal region. No freshwater, herbicides, pesticides, fertizliers, or precious cropland are required to harvest the kelp. Experts cut the kelp at just the right length to promote regrowth and remain a renewable resource. The fermentation process used by Green Line ensure enhanced bioavailability for boosted efficacy and accelerated skin benefits.

Arct’Alg® SC : Known as the peptide from the cold, Arct’Alg promotes skin rejuvenation through barrier repair, hydration, and firming. The dipeptide in the Chondrus Crispus allows this red arctic algae to survive and grow under extreme conditions. Harvesting takes place in Nova Scotia in cultivation tanks for controlled conditions.

APT™- GPF : A bio-engineered ingredient from a selected strain of red marine algae, Ahnfeltia concinna. This species is widely distributed along the intertidal basalt shores of the Hawaiian Islands and contains high-efficacy anti-aging properties. It increases cell turnover, firmness, elasticity, and smoothness while contributing an excellent skin feel and hydrating benefits.

Slimagine® : This 100% natural extract from Palmaria palmata (an edible red seaweed) acts synergistically with the GRP78 protein during protein overexpression to prevent fatty tissue growth. Benefits include fat excretion, prevention of fat storage and anti yo-yo effects. Slimagine is cultivated from ponds in Nova Scotia to allow for maximum control to prevent impurities and degradation from occurring.
