Used as adhesion promoters or coupling agents, surface modification and as starting materials for chemical synthesis.
For textiles, fibre and leather are specially modified silicones which impart improved feel, surface smoothness, hydrophobicity or hydrophilicity.
Used in the production of polyurethanes and to control crosslinking and blowing reaction. Used in combination with Struksilon silicone stabilisers in rigid polyurethane and flexible foams.
Modified silicones used to improve the surface of finished products even at low concentrations.
