Learn more about the transition process from Zonyl to Capstone products
Transitioning from DuPont Zonyl(R) to DuPont Capstone(TM) is a huge undertaking by DuPont especially as it's on a global scale, with all countries changing a particular product at the same time. The reasons for doing it are good and ethical, DuPont are voluntarily members of the US EPA 2010/15 PFOA Stewardship Program, set-up to reduce emissions at manufacturing sites worldwide. Those who have signed up to the program are ensuring that safer products will be available now and in the long-term.
So how are DuPont getting on with this transition? They are still on track with the changeover and have already developed some incredible chemistry to provide customers with a more fluorine efficient product that's as good, if not better then the Zonyl range.
There's a new brochure attached to update you further on progress. DuPont Capstone Transition Guide - Fluorosurfactants
