Resomer® (biodegradable polymers)
Alfa Chemicals are the exclusive UK distributors of the Resomer® range of biodegrable polymers manufactured by Boehringer Ingelheim.
The majority of the products in the Resomer® range of biodegradable polymers are made up of the monomers lactide and glycolide. By controlling the molecular weight and the monomer ratio or by using additional monomers, polymers with different mechanical and degradation properties can be produced that can be used in a variety of applications.
Resomer® products are manufactured in accordance with GMP guidelines and are covered by a DMF.
