Azidation

Azidation is a key area of expertise of Alfa’s custom synthesis partners. Capabilities include:

  • Use of azide reagents to perform addition, condensation, rearrangement and substitution reactions.
  • Synthesis and reactions with TMS-Azide.
  • Preparation of and rearrangements with DPPA.
  • Reduction of azides, cyclopropanation via diazo-compounds.

Production equipment for azidation includes:

  • Reactors: (25) in g/l
  • Range: 1,200 – 10,000 litres
  • Total capacity: 142,000 litres
  • Temp range: -20 °C to 200 °C
