NPT Performacol® Alcohols

These are fully saturated, long chain linear alcohols composed of 80-85% primary alcohol. Their function is to structure and thicken oil and silicones phases giving improved stability to formulations and a light, flexible film on the skin. They are suitable for use in most toiletry and colour cosmetic products including creams and lotions, lipsticks, foundations and suncare. In suncare they can improve SPF by structuring the oil phase more effectively.
