Gattefossé Texturizing Specialities

This group of products thicken and give body to formulations using several different methods. Some products trap water in their structure, giving a butter consistency and others thicken and gel waxes. They are particularly suitable for making balms, body butters and colour cosmetics.

Compritol® 888 CG Glyceryl Dibehenate & Tribehenin & Glyceryl Behenate Thickens oils and helps stabilise both O/W and W/O emulsions. Can also be used as a compacting agent for pressed powders.
Hydracire™ S Acacia Decurrens/Jojoba/Sunflower Seed Wax/Polyglyceryl-3 Esters Based on a hydrophilised complex of three waxes this product improves the stability of O/W or W/O emulsions. It can also be used to introduce water into anhydrous formulations.
Lipocire™ A Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Glycerides & Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides Improves feel of product on skin or lips, can be used in lipsticks, pencils and emulsions.
