Petrolatum Wax

We offer IGI Wax’s industrial and pharmaceutical grades of petrolatum. Petrolatum waxes are natural, mineral waxes from petroleum that are microcrystalline in nature and a semi-solid at room temperature.

The waxes themselves are non-reactive, non-toxic, biodegradable and compostable products with many applications where barriers are required to liquids and gases e.g. lotions, candles and rust preventatives.

The grades vary only in consistency and colour.

Petax 0310A	Petrolatum USP	High quality, food-grade refined petrolatum. Medium consistency or hardness. Used in food processing, pharmaceuticals and ointments.
Petax 0320A	Petrolatum USP	High quality, food-grade refined petrolatum. Softer product more easily re-packed. Used in food processing, pharmaceuticals and ointments.
Petrofibe 201	Petrolatum industrial grade	Industrial grade petrolatum.
