Paraffin Wax

We offer IGI Wax’s fully refined paraffin waxes with low, medium and high melting point options. Paraffin waxes are natural, mineral waxes from petroleum that are non-reactive, non-toxic, inherently biodegradable (OECD guidelines) and compostable products with many applications including:

Moisture barrier in food packaging products (Packaging and Corrugated Wax Blends)
Viscosity, flow, bond strength and flexibility modification of hot melt adhesives
Corrosion inhibition and rust prevention for coatings and lubricants
Liquid and gas barriers
Process aid for caulks and sealants
Improving hardness and “buffability” of polishes

IGI Wax also offer custom blends.
