Candle Blends

IGI Wax is the world leader in wax technology, product development and the manufacture of petroleum and speciality wax blends.   IGI Wax candle waxes include a range of innovative paraffin wax, vegetable wax, and hybrid wax formulations for jar filled and pillar/votive candles.  IGI Wax Candle Blends include:

  • Pure paraffin and vegetable waxes
  • Speciality candle blends
  • ‘One pour’ candle systems
  • Individual candle additives and additive packages

Products are available in 25 Kg sacks as a prill or as 27.2 Kg billets. These are then offered as bulk, 1 tonne pallets or individual bags / billets.

IGI 6006A Paraffin-vegetable wax blend A high performing hybrid paraffin-vegetable wax blend suitable for use in container candles. It exhibits a creamy, smooth appearance with excellent colour and will display colours well.

The wax can accommodate approximately 10% fragrance load and exhibits good fragrance release characteristics. Can function as a “one pour” wax.
MICROSERE® 5715A Microcrystalline wax A white wax useful as an additive to achieve additional fragrance loading, smooth appearance, and increased opacity
PARAFLEX® 4625A Paraffin wax and additive blend A base paraffin wax incorporating an additive package, suitable for use in pillar candles. Candles made with this product will have a smooth, opaque appearance and can accommodate approx 6-8% fragrance.
PARAFLEX® 4636A Petroleum-based wax blend Petroleum based blend suitable for use in Container candles, which will provide good opacity, container adherence, and fragrance loading characteristics (up to 10%).

Can function as a “one pour” wax.
