Struksilon silicone stabilisers for polyurethane

The Struksilon range of silicone stabilisers for polyurethane are polyalkylene oxide-modified polydimethylsiloxanes designed to provide benefits compared to conventional organic surfactants.

Struksilon silicone stabilisers for polyurethane are non-hydrolysable, non-ionic silicones, they differ in the siloxane and polyether chain lengths, the ethylene oxide content and the polyether capping group.

Struksilon stabilisers are designed to be used as stabilising agents in rigid polyurethane and flexible foams.

Applications include:

  • 1 and 2 component spray foams
  • Thermal insulation and appliance applications
  • Continuous and discontinuous panel and pipe insulation
  • Polyurethane microcellular foam
  • Release agents for polyurethane
  • Polyurethane flexible foam

Popular Struksilon silicone stabilisers for polyurethane grades are detailed in the table below, other grades are available.
