Repellency

Repelling water and/or oil from a surface is to protect it from staining and weathering by preventing penetration into the surface of the material.  These additives can be used to provide oil and/or water repellency to protect stone, tile, concrete, textile, carpet and upholstery.  Some of the products can also be used as additives to provide repellency in coatings formulations.
