Curing Agents

Curing agents and accelerators are used to control the curing rate of a reaction.  They tend to react into the system.  Accelerators increase the speed of reaction.  Generally used in epoxies, coatings, inks and adhesives.

Product Group Description Manufacturer
Accelerator 399 Huntsman Accelerator 399 is an epoxy curing agent used with epoxy hardeners in amine systems. Huntsman
APM N-aminopropylmorpholine (APM) is a highly reactive, low viscosity amine used as a reactive diluent in epoxy products; as a chain extender or crosslinking agent in resins and an accelerator for slower curing systems. Huntsman
Ethyleneamines Huntsman Ethyleneamines are primarily used as reactive intermediates due to their high reactivity they can form polymers, act as hydrophiles in surfactants, interact with metal ions and metal surfaces, be acid scavengers and be quarternised. Huntsman
JEFFAMINE® Polyetheramines Huntsman JEFFAMINE® Polyetheramines are extremely versatile products used to increase flexibility, toughness, hydrophilicity or hydrophobicity in coatings, epoxies, resins, elastomers, hot melt adhesives, composites. Huntsman
Nonylphenol Huntsman Nonylphenol can be used to accelerate curing in epoxy systems, surfactant intermediate, plasticiser, demulsifier and lubricant oil additive. Huntsman
Unilink Dorf Ketal Unilink aromatic diamines are chain extenders for polyurethane elastomers and effective curing agents for both TDI and MDI formulations. Dorf Ketal
