SteriTouch to join us at the NEC on 29-30 May and launch new antimicrobial additive grades.
SteriTouch® are joining us again for the Surfex Plus show at the NEC in Birmingham on 29-30 May. We'll be launching some of their newest grades so come and visit us to find out more.
SteriTouch® range of antimicrobial additives employs silver ions which kill bacteria by blocking the cells respiratory system. SteriTouch® silver biocides can be successfully incorporated into a variety of products including silicone rubber, coatings, inks, lacquers, varnishes, resins and UV cured coatings.
SteriTouch® antimicrobial additives have exceptionally low toxicity, are non-irritant and non-sensitising.
SteriTouch® antimicrobial additives are effective against most bacteria, including Staphylococcus, Aureus (including hospital superbugs like MRSA), E. Coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Enterococcus Faecium and Pseudomonas.
SteriTouch® antimicrobial additives will also prevent the growth of mould and algae.
The biocide additive will remain effective beyond the useful lifetime of most products; tests have shown the additives to be as effective after 8 years as when first incorporated into the host material.
Free independent testing against E. Coli and MRSA is offered for developments.
