Surfex 2010 review

Speciality additives prove the winner at Surfex as we see a high number of enquiries from the event.

As a regular visitor to Surfex I've always known the show to be one of the quieter ones on the calender, so deciding to exhibit took some justification.  However we were pleasantly surprised.  We had a much larger number of enquiries then expected, some with very interesting potential.  Don't get me wrong the show was still quiet but those who did attend were interested in Alfa and the speciality additives on show. 

Our enquiries were mainly for new speciality products offered by

These proved a hit with our visitors and provided us with many more enquiries to follow up then we anticipated.  So was it worthwhile exhibiting?  Time will tell if we see sales from these enquiries, but in terms of raising our profile it was successful.

We also attended the Kaleidoscope dinner with some of our business partners and customers, it was good especially considering the last minute change of venue that threatened the event, when the Majestic hotel went up in flames only a few weeks before the event!
