Steracryl trade paint launched using SteriTouch anti-microbial silver-based additives
Crown Paints have launched a new trade paint range, Steracryl, to aid the fight against hospital superbugs like MRSA. Steracryl contains SteriTouch® anti-microbial additives based on silver, that we offer from SteriTouch in the UK & Ireland.

SteriTouch® range of antimicrobial additives employs silver ions which kill bacteria by blocking the cells respiratory system. SteriTouch® silver biocides can be successfully incorporated into a variety of products including silicone rubber, coatings, inks, lacquers, varnishes, resins and UV cured coatings.
SteriTouch® antimicrobial additives have exceptionally low toxicity, are non-irritant and non-sensitising and contain no triclosan.
Free independant testing for developments and no licencing fees for using the trademark and logo, if approved, also boost the benefits on offer.
