DuPont Capstone comply with US EPA TSCA requirements

Update on DuPont Capstone products in relation to the US EPA 2010/15 PFOA Stewardship Program

To comply with US EPA TSCA requirements DuPont^TM Capstone^TM repellents and surfactants are replacing the DuPont Zonyl Fluorosurfactants, Penetrating Sealers, Intermediates and Repellents.

DuPont and other fluorochemical manufacturers have been working voluntarily with the US EPA 2010/15 PFOA Stewardship Program for over 5 years to reduce PFOA emissions and content in products.

DuPont^TM Capstone^TM have been evaluated under the EPA New Chemical Program and Consent Orders have been granted. This means, because DuPont^TM Capstone^TM repellents and surfactants are alternatives based on short-chain chemistry which means they can't break-down into PFOA in the environment. This will give you peace of mind when formulating with these products.
