BioskinupContour is a synergistic complex of concentrated extracts of Ptychopetalum olacoides (Marapuama), Pfaffia sp (Pfaffia) and Lilium candidum (White Lily) – associated compound (PPLAC).
Pfaffia sp, also known as “Brazilian ginseng”, is a Brazilian native plant, commonly used as a circulatory tonic, with healing, anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Ptychopetalum olacoides (Marapuama) is a medicinal Brazilian Rainforest plant, used by the natives as a natural energetic and aphrodisiac..
Lilium candidum, commonly known as the White Lily, originates from Central Europe and is rich in amino-acids, flavonoids, glycosides and steroids. It is traditionally used for its anti-inflammatory effects, being applied externally to ulcers, burns and erythemas.
Clinical assessment summary:
A fluid serum containing 5% BioSkinUp Contour was applied to dry skin, previously cleaned, twice a day for 28 days.
The skin was evaluated using instrumental colorimetry, and compared to the baseline condition the skin treated with the serum showed a whitening effect to dark circles around the eyes, which leads to the conclusion that the blood permeating from the capillaries around the eye gradually decreases after use of the BioSkinUp Contour serum.
The skin treated with the serum was also compared against a positive control (Methyl nicotinate) . Both were evaluated by doppler-power ultrasound and the skin treated with the BioSkinUp Contour serum showed increased microcirculation activity and improved fluid draining compared to both the positive control and the baseline condition.
